‘Hilda’ is a MDA FORD GT40 MK1 replica.

When completed she will have the following specification: -

Chassis: MDA Space frame.


Body: MDA MK1 with Twin Vent nostril, alternative Single Vent nostril and Guerney bubble on driver's door.

Transaxle: Renault UN1-13, ex 21Turbo, with upgraded 2nd gear selector, 0.76:1, 5th gear ratio.

           Rebuilt by Chris Cole.

Brakes: Willwood cylinders.
                MDA Brake Bias Adjustable Pedal Box
                HiSpec Vented Discs, 300x28mm front and 300x22mm rear with 4 Pot ‘Radial Billet 4’ Aluminium Callipers.

                HEL Performance supplied ‘Aeroquip’ Stainless steel braided hoses and fittings.
